Dorado, also known as Dolphin Fish are superb fighting fish that visit the island of Corfu in great numbers during the month of October. The species inhabits warm waters all over the world and can weigh up to 15 kilos. 

The angler in Corfu can expect to catch fish between 1 and 5 kilos.The fish is characterised by its numerous spectacular leaps from the water when hooked. The Dorado is a ferocious predator often hunting in large shoals on smaller bait fish. They are a firm-fleshed fish and delicious to eat in a variety of ways.
