Midnight Cocktail BarMidnight Cocktail Bar.

This bar is situated just off the road near Aphrodite's supermarket. Soft music and a relaxed atmosphere. Just the place for a coffee and after dinner drink. Under new management (Costas, Aphrodite's son) in 2005

Car/Bike Hire.

There are four locations in Nissaki where cars, bikes and scooters can be hired.  A word of advice.  You will find that car hire and bike hire in Nissaki is substantially cheaper than that offered by major European rental companies when booked outside Greece.  The vehicles are all well maintained and hire fee includes insurance.  The stories told about Greek car hire no longer apply.

Katerina's Car Hire.

See Katerina's Supermarket on this page.

Nissaki Holiday Centre.

Tollis Car and Bike Hire.

Situated both on the road near to Aphrodite's Supermarket and next to Yannis Supermarket at the north end of the village. They offer  cars and motorbikes for hire.

Jimmy's Scooter Hire.

Situated on the road just south of Katerina's Supermarket.  Jimmy offers scooters and motorbikes for hire.

Mountain Bikes.

Mountain bikes are available for hire nearby and can be delivered to and collected from Aliki's apartment at no extra charge.

Garage.

Shell Garage.

The nearest filling station (Shell) is approximately five kilometers north from the village of Nissaki. They also stock a varied amount of household ware and a limited stock of fishing line/hooks etc.

Tourist Centre.

Nissaki Holiday Centre.

Located at the top of the beach road, Emilios offers car hire , travel and excursion arrangements, currency exchange and safety deposit boxes.  They also have a small supermarket.

Supermarkets.

There are four supermarkets in the village.

Aphrodite.

Aphrodite's supermarket  located approximately 100 metres north of the village church is excellently stocked with all types of foodstuffs, drinks, fruit and vegetables, but it is the bakery that most people are glad to visit first thing in the morning.  The bread is freshly baked above the shop and it has been  said, is the best in the area.  The buttery croissants disappear from the shelf in no time and there is also a wide range of cakes.   It is possible to have large orders delivered.

Katerina.

Katerina's supermarket is situated between the village church and the beach road.  It is similar in size to Aphrodite's and is equally well - stocked with food and drink. Katerina's also has books, magazines and international newspapers in addition to selling Aphrodite's fresh bread.  Large orders can be delivered.  Katerina's car and scooter hire is available from the office next to the supermarket.

Yannis.

Yannis  supermarket is the nearest supermarket to Aliki's Apartments.  In addition to food and drink, it also sells Aphrodite's bread and a quite wide range of beach goods.

Village Shops.

Olive Wood ShopOlive Wood Shop.

As the  coast road leaves Nissaki, there is an olive wood shop packed with beautiful pieces made in an adjoining work-shop.  The pieces are all hand crafted from local olive wood.

Jewellry ShopJewellry Shop.

Situated next to the olive wood  shop there is a jewellery shop where customers can find skillfully crafted ear-rings, necklaces etc in gold and silver.

Taxi Service.

The local taxi service is provided by Alexis and Philip.  They offer a 24 hour service  and can be contacted by telephone on 26630 91025.

Village Tavernas.

Vitamins Taverna

Vitamins Taverna.

The Vitamins Taverna is situated at the north end of the village and is owned by Dimitris and his wife Maria. Their two daughters Dina and Amalia assist.

Dina and Amalia.

This taverna is a firm favourite
of clients from Aliki's Apartments and the number of faithfull customers who return speaks volumes for its quality. This taverna boasts an enviable panoramic view across the sea to the distant town of Corfu. You may find it necessary to book a table on the edge of the veranda. View their website at www.vitaminstaverna.com

Nissaki GrillNissaki Grill.

The Nissaki Grill is on the main road opposite the entrance to the beach road. This is another family concern - Stefanos  waits at the tables while his wife, Eleni and his mother cook.  The food is all charcoal-grilled - plain, simple but very good.

Anthi TavernaAnthi Taverna.

Now relocated from the beach to new larger premises just north of the church, with no change in the high standard of their food.   The menu is extensive and whilst being predominantly Greek it also demonstrates external influences.
